Norton Design Lab maintains formal written standards governing how client information is handled and how AI tools are applied in engagement work.

Client Confidentiality Standards

No client data, engagement information, or proprietary materials are shared with any third party or used in AI model training without explicit client authorization. All client information is handled under formal confidentiality commitments established at the start of every engagement.

AI Tool Governance Standards

NDL applies CPMAI discipline to all analytical and AI-assisted work. AI tools are applied only where they are appropriate for the analytical task and where the output is reproducible and auditable. LLMs are not applied to client data without explicit client authorization. No client information is entered into publicly available AI tools.

Engagement Governance Standards

Every NDL engagement operates under a formal engagement agreement that defines scope, deliverables, confidentiality terms, and data handling requirements. Analytical work is documented to allow independent review. Deliverables are structured to support client ownership of the work product.
